Hartman Seeks NFL Dreams at Notre Dame

Samuel Hartman, born July 29, 1999, is an American football quarterback who played college football for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Originally hailing from Cornelius, North Carolina, Hartman spent his final collegiate season at Notre Dame with the goal of securing a spot in the NFL.

Hartman's transfer to Notre Dame gave the Irish their most experienced passer in over a decade. The former Wake Forest quarterback brings a wealth of experience to South Bend, having started 38 games for the Demon Deacons. During his time at Wake Forest, Hartman threw for 9,467 yards and 78 touchdowns, while also rushing for 1,023 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Hartman's decision to transfer was driven by his desire to showcase his talents at a higher level and increase his chances of being drafted into the NFL. With his experience and impressive statistics, Hartman is expected to compete for the starting quarterback position at Notre Dame and lead the Fighting Irish to a successful 2023 season.
